Pair of Baroque style antique hand-carved and silver-gilded candle wall sconces.The central body is hand-carved wood. It features an antique silver leaf finish combined with subtle gilt accents. The backplate is created in shape of a classic Roman urn. It is flanked by ornate scrolling foliate handles and acanthus leaf details. Thick scrolling iron arms extend upwards. They hold carved bobeches styled after floral blossoms to secure candles.
Condition is very good. Wear commensurate with age and use.
