Pair Very Large Mid Century Architectural Painted Wood Obelisks.
 
Tremendous pair of neoclassical style carved wood obelisks.  Tall four-sided tapering obelisks rest on architectural stepped bases raised on ball feet. These large statement pieces are highly decorative, textured accent pieces with a hand painted finish which is best described as a “limed” whitewash finish.  Beautiful and refined, these classic creations bring symmetry and a marked importance to interior designs. 
Good condition with some minor scuffs, scratches. See photos. Circa 1970s.  Wear commensurate with age and use.
