This offer is for one of two panels. This palatial wood shadow box is elaborately, deeply carved and pierced with gilded birds among bamboo and branches. Multiple steps and layers of the carving give this panel a dramatic three dimensional appearance which creates countless possibilities for an interior designer. 
 
The very heavy panel cassette appears to be dismantled from its originally designed space and shows some slight roughness on the surrounding frame. The inside carving and gilding is good. There are a couple of missing links in the surrounding fence.
