Rococo pair of carved corbels/architectural brackets, ca. 1800.
 
Impressive and massive pair of wood carved Rococo corbels with an elegant scrolling body and foliage. The brackets are masterfully hand carved and still retain much of the original paint with the beautiful patina of many years. These very large and stately pieces of architectural salvage are in overall very good condition. Each is somewhat flaking paint.
