Extraordinary 19th century oil painting, Sheep in a Meadow, signed lower left - Rosa Bonheur -. This small masterpiece is attributed to one of art history’s most celebrated and talented female artists. The provenance is stellar from the collection of Fabian Crochet, Paris, France.
The painting is housed in a period gilt frame. Provenance label on the frame reverse. The condition is very good. Wear commensurate with age.
