Venetian Sansovino Palatial Early Baroque Style Carved and Gilded Mirror
 
This is a magnificent antique Venetian Sansovino style deep relief carved, richly water gilded and highly burnished framed mirror. It is certainly an outstanding 19th century large scaled museum quality piece. The opulent and bold carving makes a strong statement. 
 
The condition is good. Some gilt loss. Gesso flaking regilded.
 
It would be almost impossible to find another such elaborate piece.
