Venetian Style Painted Palm Beach Regency John Widdicomb Chest of Drawers
 
Vintage John Widdicomb chest of drawers is ornately designed and hand painted in a typical Venetian color scheme with gilt embellishments.  The top is painted in  faux marble finish.  Playful elements enhance the allure of the palm beach regency aesthetic. Fluted columns on each side frame partial gilt scrollwork punctuated by rosettes and floral work.  The rectangular chest has four stacked drawers, circular pulls and stands on four tapered legs.  Labeled in the top drawer.
 
 Condition is very good.  Wear due to age and use.
