Vintage Baker Furniture Mahogany & Tooled Leather Partner's Writing Desk – "Crown & Tulip" Era
 
An exceptional executive partner's desk manufactured by Baker Furniture. Classic English Regency style, this large-scale piece is fully finished on all sides to sit in the center of a home office or library. Rich mahogany construction adorned with fine geometric stringing inlays. Inset gold-leaf gilt-tooled olive green leather top with rare rounded corner projections. 6 frieze drawers with original heavy brass ring pulls over 4 turned, tapered legs terminating in solid brass cup casters.
Retains the original, highly collectible embossed oval brass "Crown & Tulip" plaque pinned inside the oak drawer lining, validating its production era between the late 1940s and 1970s.
