Vintage Pair Chinese Hand Painted Porcelain and Gilt Decorated Pheonix Motif Lamps.
 
Two large, heavy polychrome Chinese vases with auspicious decorations of Phoenixes encircling peonies among water and branches on a white background.  The Ornately embellished gilt painted porcelain bodies are mounted on carved wood black enameled bases and lidded with brass hardware.
 
Lamps are in very good vintage condition.  Wear is commensurate with age.
