Vintage Regency Style Ebonized Armchair with Cane Seat
 
20th century Regency style armchair from the cabinet maker Trouvailles, Watertown Massachusetts. It is black lacquered with gold painted accents. Seat and back are caned and decorated with hand painted fan motifs. The chair and caning are in good condition. One lacquer chip on the frame and some minor touch ups. Sturdy construction. Wear consistent with age and use.
